This 3 hour-class will provide comprehensive, evidence-based information to expecting parents about newborn care from birth to the first six weeks after.
They will learn about newborns characteristics, appearance, abilities, cues, behaviors, about comforting a crying baby, swaddling, feeding, burping, diapering, bathing , cord care, circumcision care, dressing, newborn health, warning signs to report to pediatrician, tests, procedures, immunizations, sleep safety, car safety, pet safety, decisions before baby coming, special care for premature and small babies.
Important information about pediatrician, baby's essentials will be discussed.
Practice time will be provided, during the class, for swaddling, holding, diapering, bathing, burping, and for questions.
What To Bring To Class:
Pillow, comfortable clothes, sweater, your favorite snacks, lunch or dinner according to time class taken
